3 Dog Day

Ever feel like you are having a day that is going to the dogs? Mine officially has for the last two weeks as I house sit a friends 3 pooches (Probably not the best idea with allergies and such but hey the vacuum and I have become best friends). It is not that they are bad or a problem except in the case of my social life as I feel terrible leaving them alone after leaving them for work all day. Not to mention they all look so sad when I put on my coat and go out the door ( I feel like a child abuser by leaving them!) Luckily their "parents" come home on Tuesday so I can be the selfish individual I usually am and they can run wild and free where ever their hearts desire.

Meet the freight train of the family Roscoe...very cute, very lovable but he is a moose and seems to be unable to stop eating everything in sight including sometimes his sister Clover.

HMMMM getting run over by this brute is just like getting hit by a freight train. Other habits include barking at things he wants but can't have or can't reach or just is too plain silly to pick up...I guess he is hoping that by barking his bone or ball will magically come back to him. Not the brightest bulb in the tree!

He plus Blue and Clover are my neurotic but fun companions on any given day.

Blue is deciding that eating is a luxury only for the youngest two as she is on hunger strike until her master comes back. Clover is just a sweet lovable white blur trying to get out from under the freight trains body. Interestingly enough I think that Clover and Roscoe have gained more weight as the vacation goes on...hopefully Dave and Kara will not notice. Maybe the super chickens I have been feeding in the garage will take their mind off the fatter dogs...one can always hope!
